Cycle+™ revolutionizes the biodegradability of polypropylene with the proprietary patented additive, creating a new standard, the biotransformation. It targets the most common and significant problem with single-use plastic, littering.
Biotransformation degrades plastic in the open environment, meaning if the plastic is left on the side of the road, it will rapidly transform into water, gas, and biomass similar to natural wax. It is time-planned. Our Cycle+ line has a service life of 2 years. After 2 years, the additive triggers the catalytic process that transforms and breaks the chemical chains. This transformation allows the natural elements such as UV light, air, moisture, and living organisms such as bacteria and fungi to accelerate the degradation and biodegradation process. Within 6 to 12 months, the abandoned plastic become water, gas, and wax, leaving no micro-plastic behind.
Cycle+ was developed from England and complies with PAS 9017:2020 international standards and food-safe (FDA and GRAS approved). Cycle+ allows all the benefits of polypropylene, such as heat resistance and clarity, including full recyclability. It could be mixed and recycled with other PP material. Cycle+ takes the extra care and makes it simple to ensures the misplaced plastic will not become nature’s problem.
Cycle+™ line is a joint design project between SPI and Pack-Aegis. Together, we present standard 4 sizes, 6" by 6", 9.75" by 7.5", 8" by 8", and 9" by 9".
They are microwavable, reusable, fully recyclable as PP, and fully degrades in an open-air environment within 2 years. It also features SPI's patented tamper-evident locks!
